Having the weekly recitations were really helpful because you knew exactly what was expected and how to get a good grade. Also, she explained how to do each lab thoroughly and provided really good feedback about our lab reports and made comments on how to improve them. |

The eSFF also instructed students to write in response to the prompt "Please comment on the instructor’s sensitivity to the diversity (for example, political viewpoint, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual identity, and disability) of the students in the class." Below are some comments students wrote about my sensitivity to diversity as the lab instructor for Human Biology, Honors Intro to Biology, and Experimental Marine Biology.

On the right are plots that summarize student responses to five of the 16 eSFF questions that best reflect my ability as an instructor to facilitate student learning for the Temple University courses Human Biology, Honors Intro to Biology, and Experimental Marine Biology. The data presented display my rating on a scale from 1-5 for the question, the university-wide average rating, and the number of students (N) who answered the question over all of the semesters that I have been the instructor for a lab section. |

She was very informative and knew her stuff. She was able to answer all of my questions with ease and made the class very relaxed and comfortable. Thank you for your help!!!!! Very very detailed skills were taught. Also my particular instructor was very knowledgable. |
She is very engaging and listens to us. She is very good. Excellent personality, very good vocabulary knowledge. Awesome instructor!! |
She took time to explain in great detail issues that students were having as well as Kaplan methods which proved to be very helpful. She made herself available at least 30 minutes before class and stayed after as long as it took to make sure students understood the principles she discussed |
